Dear Stakeholders,
I want to share some good news with you. This week, Fund staff will be producing and mailing checks for the 10% “holdback” amounts that were withheld from your award payments in 2013. Even though 2013 breeder awards increased by more than 18% compared to 2012 levels, stallion awards increased by more than 26% and open-company owner awards increased by 48% (total awards: $15,831,745.65), we still have sufficient money to pay back every penny that was withheld.
