The Thoroughbred Industry is increasingly joining ranks to promote off-track Thoroughbreds as terrific mounts for second careers. In New York, the state’s Thoroughbred Breeding Fund is sponsoring a polo team made up entirely of registered NY-breds who came off the track. The Fund’s Executive Director Tracy Egan recently introduced some team representatives to a Horse Symposium a few furlongs from Saratoga Race Course.
