Dear Stakeholders,
Happy Fourth of July from the staff of the New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund. We are pleased to be sending out nearly $2.7 million in awards on the eve of the nation’s Independence Day weekend celebration. The awards represent 90% of the full amounts earned by your NY-breds in May and June of 2015.
The Fund withholds 10% of each award category in order to make sure we have sufficient funds to pay all stakeholders throughout the fiscal year. We expect to pay out 100% of the withheld amounts in January 2016.
