IHDV Stallions LLC has announced that all stud fees for the stallions they manage will remain unchanged in 2024. MIND CONTROL, who set NY records for mares bred (190) and number of mares in-foal (171) has relocated to the Stillwater, NY farm for the 2024 breeding season. Rockridge Stud did an outstanding job in 2023. His move was predetermined by the unprecedented cooperative agreement among New York’s most important breeders that brought the THREE TIME GRADE 1 winner to the Empire State last year. The move to IHDV emphasizes the cooperative nature of this venture. Rockridge Stud, along with Waldorf Farm and Hidden Lake Farm, remain active partners in the stallion’s management and can also be contacted to purchase 2024 seasons. The full IHDV roster includes:
- WAR DANCER, a proud New York resident since beginning his stud career, continues to have his progeny
impress on the racetrack over all surfaces and distances. As a direct result, he bred nearly 70% more
mares in 2023 than he did in 2022. - The ever-popular Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner BIG BROWN, who was the broodmare
sire of 2023 Kentucky Derby winner MAGE. - KING FOR A DAY (UNCLE MO) and LOOKIN AT LEE (LOOKIN AT LUCKY) will both have exciting two-year-olds begin racing in 2024.
- The first crop from WAITING, a son of Triple Crown winner AMERICAN PHAROAH, hit the ground in 2023
and look the part. - We are eager to get a look at the first crop from WARRIOR’S CHARGE. The multiple-stakes-winning millionaire son of MUNNINGS arrived last year to begin his stud career.

IHDV will hold its stallion show this year from 12:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, to coincide with the NYTB Holiday Party later that evening. Lunch will be served, and the farm will be holding its annual raffle for a free season to each stallion, as well as offering special stallion show pricing. The stallions are available for inspection by potential breeders on request.
