Dear Stakeholders,
Each year the NYS Thoroughbred Breeding Fund selects a champion of aftercare and holds an event celebrating that person at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
Our past designees as the Fund’s Champion of Aftercare are Jena Antonucci, who won both the Bemont and Travers Stakes with Archangelo and is a lifelong supporter of off-track Thoroughbreds; retired NYRA trainer Rich Schosberg, who has helped ensure safe landings for numerous retired Thoroughbreds; and NY owner-breeder Maggie Seidman, who provides for any of her horses in need of retirement.
