On March 20, the Thoroughbred Breeding & Development Fund put in the mail supplemental award payments of 15% of the awards earned in 2014. To all of those receiving these checks, the Fund congratulates you for breeding and racing the quality Thoroughbreds that earned you this supplemental award payment. As you can see from the chart below, 1,232 checks totaling $2,452,401 are being mailed.

The Fund and our stakeholders across New York can boast that not only did our foal count increase by 4.4% over the 2013 count, the 2014 figure of 1,603 foals represents a 30% gain over the 2011 total.
